Looking Into The Future

by SORALO / Friday, 20 December 2024 / Published in Events, News, Stories, Uncategorised

Our recent strategic planning workshops held with our partners Maliasili were a journey of self-discovery and collaboration. We came together as a team to discuss new ideas, challenge old beliefs and formulate a collective vision for the future. Thanks to the guiding expertise of Maliasili and an ever-enthusiastic SORALO team, the workshops became a space for creativity and deep reflection, where we did not only define our goals, but created the way to achieve them as well.

Deeps discussions, combined with our team’s efforts helped to build the foundation for the plan which is more than a guide; it is a flexible, living, ever-evolving, progressive roadmap that stays focused on the future.  It will keep us on track to build the right environment for our organization, landscape and communities over the next decade.

Our commitment to a community-first approach still remains at the core of this plan, with a strong focus on sustainable land management and environmental conservation. Our primary role is to support the integrity of this landscape by preserving the health and connectivity of the land, the culture of its people, the well-being of local livelihoods based on healthy rangelands and the co-existence of people and wildlife. This milestone marks the moment when we can say that it is within our sight, and that our vision for a thriving resilient community and environment is no longer just a distant dream but is within our reach.

The new strategic plan will be launched in 2025. Bold changes, fresh ideas, and an ambitious vision are on the horizon. Stay tuned, you don’t want to miss what’s coming!
